Blue Starfish

Blue is my favourite colour ~ the colours of the ocean and sky on those days when the sun is shining ~ it doesn't matter whether its July or January ~ its guarenteed to bring a smile to my face.

Hand cut and texturised starfish have been soldered onto 25mm sterling silver discs and from them are hung the most equisite blue topaz beads and rondelles ~ swiss blue, sky blue and London Bue Topaz ~ of which i have been hoarding ...

I brushed the patina I added off the starfish ~ not only to show the texture but to make them pop.
